Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of Chinese medicine that has been practiced for centuries. The

fundamental principle of acupuncture is to balance the body by removing blockages. An

acupuncture needle is placed in a specific acupuncture point on the meridian and

removes these blockages and allows for the free flow of blood, body fluids and qi (our

life force). In essence, acupuncture treats the root cause of the disease and not just the

symptoms.

Here is a list of some of the things that acupuncture can treat:

Pain issues (sciatica, low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, osteoarthritis, etc)

Common cold and flu

Gynecological disorders

Infertility

Anxiety

Depression

Stress

Autoimmune disorders

Gastrointestinal dysfunction

Side effects of chemotherapy and radiation

PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
